Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Overview

Convertly ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

File processing

All file conversions happen entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers, never stored, and never shared with any third party. Once you close the tab, no file data persists anywhere.

Cookies and local storage

We store one preference in your browser's localStorage: your auto-download toggle setting. This stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

We may use cookies for advertising purposes as described below.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

In addition to Google, other third-party vendors and ad networks may serve ads on this site and may use cookies to do so. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send the advertisements and links that appear on Convertly directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs.

How to opt out:

For more information on how Google uses data when you use our site, see How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.

For more information about cookie consent, visit cookiechoices.org.

Analytics

We do not currently use any analytics services. We do not track individual users or collect browsing behaviour.

Third-party libraries

Convertly uses open-source libraries that run entirely client-side — including PDF.js, pdf-lib, jsPDF, JSZip, and the Canvas API. No data is sent to the authors of these libraries.

Children's privacy

Convertly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
